Want to celebrate your birthday with an alligator, giant snakes, and tortoises? Looking for an unforgettable experience for your scout group, homeschool group, or class field trip? At the Wildlife and Discovery Center of West Virginia, we offer exciting, hands-on educational experiences where guests can get up close with amazing animals while learning about science, conservation, and the natural world.
Events
Our programs are perfect for school field trips, homeschool groups, youth organizations, and birthday parties. Field trips can come to us for an immersive, up-close experience, or we can bring the animals and education directly to your school or group for an engaging outreach program.
We also attend community events with interactive booths, bringing a selection of our animals to give people a chance to see them up close, ask questions, and learn more about wildlife in a fun and approachable way.
Visitors can enjoy interactive lessons and live animal shows. Each experience is designed to inspire curiosity, respect for wildlife, and a deeper understanding of the environment.
PARTY/EVENT INFORMATION
All birthday parties and events are 90min in total reserved time. That includes a 30 minute reptile show just for you! Prepare to be amazed by some of our amazing rescued and rehabilitated animals including some giant snakes, an American Alligator, tortoises, super cool lizards and more! Event guests are welcome to bring their own food, drinks, cake, open presents, etc in that allotted time.
